Daylight | Algorithmic Skin Halte Transjakarta by Devina Andreas

Transjakarta is one of public transportation in Jakarta with 10 corridors  consist of more than 150 stops around Jakarta. For the sake of fast and pre-fabrication matter, the designs of the bus stops (halte) were generalized without considering the context and condition of each stops.

As we all know, Jakarta as a part of tropical country receive generous amount of daylight every day. The generalization of the halte became the issue, most of the halte receive excessive amount of daylight. Therefore, application of skin for the halte is a suggested solution in adjusting the amount of daylighting.

The development of the skin is based on Algorithmic design, which consists of: pattern and module finding from planar surface, creating variety from the module and creating variation through form of the halte itself

Cooling | Algorithmic Skin Halte Transjakarta by Ignatius Christianto

In this project we exercise to create architectural design through algorithmic strategy which use procedural modelling techniques to explore varieties and variations of form articulation.
In the design process I've created a lot of varieties. By creating varieties I tried a lot and makes me able to conclude something. That the module have to be open down-side, the structure and the skin have to be efficient, so I create a 1 layered skin and structure. Or maybe at least it's "semi-monolithic". When finalizing the design, I tried to make the most efficient structure (that i know or tried).

The details, tectonic is hidden from the outside. So the experience of modules can be seen perfectly without bolts on the exterior side.

Continuity | Algorithmic Skin Halte Transjakarta by Hifzani Zweardo

Continuity is the keyword of this project. in my opinion, the design transjakarta's terminals  is too ordinary so i tried to make something more attractive. to show the keyword, i decided to make floors, walls and roofs are interconnected and after that, i designed the skin of that part to make it looks more interesting.

The design of that skins are started from a simple rectangle. and then i changed it into pentagon which has different height and width (the process can be seen on board below).

after it is applied to the form, this skin can make an attractive design of the Transjakarta's terminal and it looks different from another
(further information can be seen on board below)

Porosity | Algorithmic Skin Halte Transjakarta by Devina Setyono

This task is given by my lecture mr. dani hermawan for midterm test .In the beginning of project , we should analysis about bus stop (TRANSJAKARTA) in daan mogot.

I found the problem of this bus stop is the air circulation . Because the design of this bus stop make the hot air trapped so my idea come from a sponge . Why sponge? i think a concept / essence of sponge can be use for the problem of this bus stop.

As the development of ideas, i took the essence of the sponge and i got the porosity for my keyword.
